Medium base or LED Bulbs?

Medium Base vs Integrated LED?

When it comes to choosing between a medium-based socket and an integrated LED, there are a few factors to consider.

A medium-based socket is a type of light fixture that accepts bulbs with a medium-sized base, such as the common A19 bulb. This type of fixture allows you to easily replace the bulb as needed, which can be convenient if you want to change the color temperature or brightness of the light.

On the other hand, an integrated LED fixture has the LED light source built directly into the fixture itself. These fixtures are often more energy-efficient and longer-lasting than traditional bulbs, and they can also offer more control over the color temperature and brightness of the light.

One major advantage of integrated LED fixtures is that they generally require less maintenance over time, since there are no bulbs to replace. Additionally, they tend to be more energy-efficient, which can help you save on your electricity bill in the long run.

However, if you prefer to have more control over the light output, or if you like the ability to easily swap out bulbs as needed, a medium-based socket may be a better choice. It's also worth noting that integrated LED fixtures can be more expensive upfront, so you may want to weigh the cost against the long-term savings.
